Reflections of a ... bus going by
I was pointing my camera at a building and a bus went by. Turns out it was the best of the bunch...not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.
Photography is my passion. The search for truth my obsession. ~Alfred Steiglitz
We had a great show tonight that my brother D and nephew G got to come see (that sold out and then some). G even got to bring two of his friends. Glad you came G!
I've decided to leave my comfort zone with today's photo. I took a class from Jon Williams on Photography and Natural Light and we shot like crazy this morning, then this afternoon I went to my parent's house for the annual Easter Egg Hunt (and froze my tush). Needless to say I have about 8 million pictures to choose from, but this one jumped out at me. Mostly because it is so incredibly different from anything I ever shoot.
I had a blast tonight with my friend Ali and her family. These are her kids (and a spouse).
Remember back on the 20th of January when the Parents started on their Kitchen Makeover? Well, it's finished. My mother finally got her Christmas gift...and then some.
Nothing says Happy St. Patrick's Day like a huge mylar ball balloon that says... well, you know.

For those of you who don't know, I'm the Marketing Manager for a non-profit arts organization. Our organization is so small that we all pretty much do everything from advertising to ticket sales to taking the garbage out. Not too long ago, Lara was selling tickets at a performance and a woman put her head down on the counter where there is an opening in the glass, as if she were trying to get her head through (much like Lara is doing in this photo), and actually said the words "I just can't get to you." To which we responded, "Um, that's kind of the point."
...and this is it. I was working on a project earlier for my Dad and found myself on the same property as this cabin. It's was built by Miles Goodyear and was apparently the first permanent building in Utah. I thought it had some pretty funky textures.

This photo needs a title... Let's have a contest. I'll think of a prize, you think of a title.
