Apathy
I've come to a sad realization. I'm apathetic. I have exactly 2 weeks to go on this project, and I feel like I could quit today and be just fine. In fact, I took a picture of the inside of my lens cap tonight and came really close to posting it. But before you panic and start lecturing me, know this, I DON'T WANT TO FEEL THIS WAY!!! So, I'm asking you, dear readers (can I call you readers? Do you read pictures?) for help. Tell me how you motivate yourself! How do you go from apathy to enthusiasm? AND
I NEED MODELS! I'll take anyone or anything. I'll give you prints for your Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, Second Cousins twice removed... I'll sing you a song, I'll even pay YOU...it may be $5, but it's $5 you didn't have before...

Robbie and I will be your models this weekend...I'm not sure I really want pictures of me because I'm a huge cow, but I'll contribute to the effort. Besides - I need belly shots. Just remember - you'll feel much better about yourself if you endure to the end. If you quit now, you may not feel like a wusy right away - but the guilt and the wusiness will set in by the end of the two weeks.
Take pictures at Snowbird. Have you ever been up Little Cottonwood? My Goodness, it's beautiful!

there comes a point when you continue just because you have to--Think *Wonder Boys* (2000) with Michael Douglas and Tobey Maguire--"his heart no longer beat to inspire, it beat only out of habit." That's how I keep going.

They way I do it is by thinking about how far I have come instead of how far I have to go. The sense of accomplishment is way more motivating for me than the sense of obligation. YOU CAN DO IT!! LOVE YOU
Two weeks is nothing! It is only 14 days! It will go so fast! Look at the weeks previous, how fast they went
Use some of the photos that you have already taken.
Don't worry, be happy! ;-)
Hang in there, M! You've done such a great job. When I get stale on ideas (everyday) I wander through places that have a lot of junk. I find it easier to find beautiful compositions in junk than I do in beautiful places. Under the viaduct east of the kayak park is fun (bring a bodyguard) and smith and edwards back lot is fun too. Or try two-second exposures in the evening without a tripod. See how many rules you can break. Not to put any pressure on you, but if you don't go the full 365 my life be filled with despair...:)

You could go with a theme to give you ideas for the last haul, ABC,123 (these are ideas from a mom of young children, but Melissa-style I bet they'd be awesome), seven wonders of Ogden/Utah, astrological signs, Shakespears plays, seven deadly sins....
You guys make me happy! Thanks for the encouragement.
Nate...you are absolutely right - as usual :-)
S.A.Dude - will you be my bodyguard? Loan me your camera? Lenses? Talent? HOw about doing it for me?
