Day 224

Ben Lomond
My parents live at the foot of this mountain, and from the beginning of this project my mother has been asking me to take this photograph. While I've taken several shots of it, none of them have turned out right. This one however, I like.

Interesting fact... The man who drew the original logo for Paramount Pictures was from Ogden (my home town) and local legend says he used this mountain as his inspiration. Who knows if it's true, but it's a fun story.

I think this is one of my favorites, Melissa! It makes me "homesick" for Ogden. We don't get there very often any more. *sniff sniff*

Is it warm in Utah? Ya, it snowed in Idaho Falls yesterday. It's also windy and overcast and all around miserable considering May is just around the corner.

Do you see the smilely face in the mountain. Every winter it smiles when it has snow on it. It is hard to see in a photograph.
